I've been doing an MLP rewatch for the past few years (I MEAN years). I have a list of all of it in chronological order! I really don't like this movie, but I had to watch it, by order of myself! BOO SIA!!!!

I'd been meaning to watch this movie for years, and I finally got around to it! I watched it with my boyfriend and I thought it was really cute (he'd seen it before) I love a movie where the annoying kid gets kicked in the balls!! And of course we both cried at the end because it was so real.
I saw this movie when it first released, but in rewatching I have a LOT of thoughts about it. I think overall, it was cute! I love the unicorn song, genuinely so fun and silly, love the characters... BUT it was a horrible way to start Generation 5. The big mistake they made was starting with a movie: they couldn't put it in theaters, and brought in huge voice actors for publicity which eventually just ruined the consistency for the upcoming sequel shows and specials. I think people would have liked G5 a lot more if they started with Tell Your Tale, introducing new VAs, then came out with a big movie like this WITH THE SAME VAs...
